New Owners New Holiday Hours!

Good News!  The Yarn Shoppe has new owners.  As of today, Valerie, Jody, and Madeline Newkirk are now operating The Yarn Shop.  Valerie has been a customer of the shop since 2005, and is delighted at the opportunity to continue and grow the shop.  Valerie and her husband, Jody will be operating the shop with their eight year old daughter, Madeline. 

Of course, Judy Wagner has agreed to stay on as the shop manager, and we could not be happier.  We are waiting for all the new yarn that we have ordered to start coming in, and Judy will send out updates as the new yarns arrive.  Check your email for updates.

We are also excited to offer extended holiday hours in order to meet our customer's busy schedules.  Holiday Hours will be effective December 3rd through December 23rd.

Saturday:     10 am til 5 pm

Sunday:         Noon til 5pm

Monday:        Closed

Tuesday:       10 am til 5 pm

Wednesday:  10 am til 5 pm

Thursday:      10 am til 7 pm

Friday:          10 am til 5 pm

Fair Isle Class

Announcement!

Dear Yarn Shoppe Ladies,

 

This won't come as a surprise to most of you, as the grapevine is still working beautifully.

 

Yes, The Yarn Shoppe is for sale.  Since several of you have shown an interest,  I need to hear from you within 10 days if you are interested in buying it.  The reason for haste now is the this is the season for knitting and the Quad Cities needs a place like The Yarn Shoppe to come to without having to go out of town to buy excellent yarn.
